Reasons:-
The Subcommittee has taken into account that save for Environmental Health agreeing two additional conditions with the applicant, there were no representations from any of the Responsible Authorities. The Subcommittee has considered the representation received from Paul Sedgwick and notes that whilst Mr Sedgwick states that his property is most affected by the premises and has concerns regarding public nuisance, no other residents have made any representations regarding the application.
The Subcommittee has received no evidence that the licensing objectives of the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety and protection of children from harm will be prejudiced. In respect of the prevention of public nuisance, the Subcommittee has taken into account the stye of operation of the premises and is of the view that the imposition of the additional conditions will prevent any potential public nuisance arising from the premises.
There is a right of appeal to the Magistrates’ Court against this decision which must be lodged within 21 days of the date of the written notification of the decision.
