Since 1 April 2013 the Council is required to
have its own council tax support scheme to provide assistance to
council taxpayers on low incomes. The scheme needs to be approved
annually and assistance is by way or a reduction in the amount of
council tax that is due.
The Council Tax Support Scheme needs County Council approval.
